On his drive home from work yesterday hubby noticed all the closed restaurants and the dark and vacant parking lot of the not so gentlemanly club. He said it was the first time in his life that he felt sorry for the strippers. I wonder what the line is like at the unemployment office, and the questions - "Occupation?" Nix that, the unemployment office probably does everything online or over the phone now.
When hubby stopped at a gas station the other day, a man was busy filling his truck and his fishing boat. Gas prices seem to be dropping from lack of demand, which makes it the perfect time to fill up that gas guzzling boat. When hubby walked Ember this morning, he spotted a bucket sitting in someone's front yard. Curious, he took a look. It was full of minnows. It looks like I'm not the only one planning to do some fishing. Too bad it is raining like mad right now. Men are going to be stuck inside today with their wives and very bored children, who have no new library books to read or videos to watch. How many games of Monopoly can you play before getting bored or throttling that one family member who cheats and wins all the time? Pray for domestic peace. It's true the police are probably getting bored from lack of speeders and bar closing time DUIs to catch, but that doesn't mean that they really want to answer calls for domestic disturbances.
