Since I haven't bothered to study up on how to import pictures that can be enlarged, you'll just have to suffer with a bit of  overlap.

This is the nicest wide load I have seen in a long time.

License plate has been blurred to protect the privacy of the owner,

but I can say that it was a rather special personalized plate.

It implied that the Testarossa was a present from a sweetie.

As the Garden Grows

In spite of being rather busy with family stuff,

it did get planted.

And now it grows!

It never ceases to amaze how the genetic blueprint to produce such beautiful and unique plants can be stored in tiny seeds.

 With the cool, wet weather this week,

the tomatoes don't seem to be doing much,

but the cool weather crops are flourishing.

 The potted rose bush survived the winter inside the garage, Yeah!

 Really, I did prune the apple trees this year.

In Honor of

our mumble-mumble-th wedding anniversary, our second blender broke.  On the blade assembly the spline on the bottom moves independently of the blades on top, not good!  The motor is still good, but the blade assembly part is no longer sold!  Ah, forced obsolescence!  Once again, you know that you are getting even older when the replacements for your wedding gifts start breaking.

Hmm, since it is unlikely that I can fix the blade assembly and maintain the seal, I wonder if it could be cannibalized and used to make a motorized version of a salad spinner?  So far this summer the spinach and swiss chard are growing quite nicely in the garden with all this cool weather.

(And yes, perhaps we have been watching too much Top Gear.  When making rhubarb juice, a V-8 powered blender could be quite handy, but unfortunately not very space efficient.)
