That is except for the sound of a sewing machine going to town on some of mom's red flannel hoard. I don't know why she bought an entire bolt of the stuff, but it seems a shame to let such good quality flannel sit around. Now mom and stepfather have matching father Christmas and mother Christmas sleepwear. He's too slender to play Santa Claus. Did I mention it is really, really red!
It is good they sleep with their eyes closed.
The staff at the assisted living should get a giggle out of this.
Unfortunately, there is still more red flannel left.
What am I going to do with it?
Make mom a spare nightgown - or two?
(Hers is actually a dress pattern widened and shortened, but I figured the really loose raglan sleeve would work well for her getting in & out of it easily with her sore shoulder.)
